About Amanda
Amanda developed her strong business acumen by repeatedly scaling metrics and creating value for a number of VC-backed startups (YouEarnedIt, BlackLocus, Infochimps), and established public technology companies (Rackspace, Dell, SolarWinds, and Pervasive Software). She has worked with a number of private equity-funded companies, including NetQoS and PeopleAdmin. In the last seven years of her career, she has taken four companies through acquisition: Infochimps (sold to CSC), PeopleAdmin (sold to Vista Equity Partners), Rackspace (taken private by Apollo Global Management), and YouEarnedIt (sold to Vista Equity Partners).
Amanda is an accomplished leader, speaker, mentor, and advisor who believes in integrity, the value of community, and the power of connection. Her top 5 Clifton Strengths are Maximizer, Connectedness, Discipline, Arranger, and Positivity. She is an INTP personality, a fairly rare personality type, making up only 3% of the population. She enjoys going to the movies, seeing her favorite bands in concert, watching theater performances, wandering around art and science museums, traveling the world, doing yoga, gardening, and cooking. Raised in Massachusetts, she has lived and volunteered in Austin, Texas for over 30 years.
